Bringing Traditional Fishing to Local Anglers
Formation of the Dunham Massey Angling Club
The club has been formed by like minded anglers wishing to bring back traditional fishing to local anglers. Dunham Massey Angling Club is an Altrincham based club with its sights firmly set on providing traditional fishing on rivers and still waters as close to the local area as possible.
The club has an excellent game fishing section and wants to promote this section as we believe this is as near to pure fishing alongside nature as you can get.
The coarse fishing section is also an excellent side and we hope to invest in all aspects of the club to secure the clubs future in the Altrincham area.
We encourage our members to remember their roots and to use the skill and knowledge they have acquired to find, catch their quarry and re-kindle that sense of adventure we all share as anglers.
The club is committed to help, maintain and improve the local environment and promote a positive attitude towards fishing, we will be working with local authorities and societies within the area to do this.
The club believes that it should be involved in local projects which help save and create wildlife habitat through the sport of angling, to produce new fisheries wherever possible and to encourage and guide young people in the art of true angling.
